Project Background
Starting with a brownfield site in Altens Industrial Estate, our client had a specific brief set by a client who was looking for a bespoke building to house their Aberdeen workforce.

Located on the south side of the River Dee, the site’s elevated position commands excellent views over the City.



Design Response
The building presents a considered response to detailed analysis of the site context and site restraints. The L- Shape plan of the 4 storey building was the logical layout for the building on this site and provides a strong street elevation, an efficient and flexible office floor plate and the creation of a courtyard.
The overall design of the building has a strong modern and urban feel to reflect the environs in Altens Estate.


The building maximises the site development potential providing large, efficient deep plan accommodation.
210,000 sqft of Grade A office accommodation is provided over four floors, with highly flexible open plan spaces.
