Project Background

Inovyn’s new HQ was conceived to replace several disparate and dilapidated buildings with a striking Grade A energy efficient office building, bringing the majority of the company’s Runcorn employees together into one facility and allowing the company to explore a completely new and collaborative way of working.

The family aesthetic matches that of the Ineos HQ in Grangemouth

Challenges

Overcoming hazardous site complexities, including site levels and critical underground services, were major challenges that the design had to respond to.

Design Response

Presented over four floors, workplace flexibility was key to the brief and the building was designed on a split floor basis to allow for several ways of working.

A kitchen area with two high tables and high chairs, a counter with a microwave and a sink.

The supporting well-being building was a key component of the project and provides employees with much needed amenities that were previously lacking onsite, whilst the landscape design creates an entirely new supporting natural environment.
