MLA are delighted to be supporting our client, Abstract Mid-Tech, with the development of a state-of-the-art laboratory and office space in South Cambridgeshire's sought after 'Golden Triangle'.

Encouraging Innovation

Creating an environment in which innovation can thrive, the design of this strategic hub is highly flexible and adaptable. The building will accommodate a wide range of cutting-edge laboratories, offices and meeting spaces, with the highest sustainability and energy efficiency standards.

Sustainable Design

In addition to targeting BREEAM 'Excellent' and an EPC rating of A, the project seeks to significantly increase the public amenity provision in the area. Improving the ecological condition of the site it will include a landscaped outdoor space, encouraging a healthy, active lifestyle. Sustainable and active travel will be facilitated with over-provision of cycle parking and a significant number of EV charging points.
