Scottish Property Awards for 30 Semple Street
Winner of Architectural Excellence and Net Zero Development of the Year
A testament to the hard work of everyone involved in the project, 30 Semple Street was recognised with two Scottish Property Awards at this year’s event.
MLA joined client CBRE IM , Corran Properties and other industry partners to accept the awards at the Glasgow Hilton in February.
The redevelopment which was awarded the highest level, BREEAM “Outstanding” certification last year won the ‘Architectural Excellence (Commercial Use)’ and ‘Net Zero Development of the Year’ categories.

The client brief was to achieve the highest possible environmental and sustainability ratings through a comprehensive redevelopment of the former office building. MLA’s task was to design a contemporary and highly efficient new office which maximised space, improved floorplate efficiency and incorporated high quality occupier amenities. They have achieved this with a stunning re-interpretation of the building that exceeded our expectations. The project deserves all the accolades it has received."
