BCO Awards Regional Winner 2025 – Fit Out of Workplace!

OVO Energy wins the BCO Fit-Out of Workplace 2025 at the Regional Awards, Scotland.

OVO’s aspiration for their workspace hub was to bring colleagues together for the ‘magic moments’ made possible in a physical space

To promote interaction and wellbeing, it was designed to be light, bright, flexible and fun. Colours, textures and art added warmth and a home-from-home, look and feel. Movement was encouraged with the addition of a bold set of connecting staircases between four floors.

Sustainable options were prioritised in furniture and material specification. And Scottish suppliers were used where possible to support local businesses and reduce carbon emissions.

Creating a welcoming environment, the vibrant ground floor café space is open to all building users. An attractive and inviting social space, it has provided a gathering place for the local community in this busy urban location.

The BCO judges noted that ‘they were struck by the welcoming atmosphere, clever space planning, and ingenious flexibility’.
