Planning Permission Secured for Sky
Development of the Sky campus in Livingston
Marking a significant milestone for Sky, planning permission has been granted for the development of their ambitious new campus in Livingston.
Existing disconnected buildings will be replaced with a single ultra-low energy workplace designed for hybrid working and collaboration. The proposals will extend Sky’s current site by an additional 15 acres, taking it to over 21,000m² in size, and providing a home for approximately 3,000 colleagues.
The new three storey building will be arranged around a generous, light-filled courtyard to enhance well-being. Amenities will include contemporary event spaces, a meeting area, café, restaurant, a state-of-the-art gym and activity-based workspaces. It will also deliver significant benefits to the local community, including landscaped green spaces and active travel links.
