Rosebank Distillery wins a Herald Property Award

Best Regeneration Project Winner

MLA were joined by representatives from Ian MacLeod Distillers to pick up an award for Rosebank Distillery at the Herald Property Awards for Scotland.

We were delighted to receive this recognition for a project which has been ‘a labour of love’ for Ian Macleod Distillers Ltd and everyone involved in the project.

Dating back to 1840 and abandoned in 1993, it took a dedicated and passionate team to bring this iconic building back to life.

“This is incredibly successful regeneration project restores a key local landmark back into the Falkirk community as well as reinstating one of Scotland rare triple distilled whisky brands. After falling into dilapidation in the early 90’s, the site’s original listed warehouses have been completely transformed, delivering a modern working distillery, engaging visitor experience and impressive retail units. This worthy winner offers a great story, an amazing building and important economic boost to Falkirk as a place, not to mention Scotland’s whisky industry.”
