This year MLA are supporting Maggie’s ‘Scotties in the city’ campaign in Glasgow to raise much needed funding for the cancer charity. The campaign runs from 18th June to 16th August 2026 with a trail of giant Scottie dogs, decorated by UK artists, throughout the city.
Reflecting our values, Maggie’s is recognised internationally for commissioning beautifully designed and welcoming buildings. Combining architecture, interiors and nature, Maggie’s Centres transcend traditional healthcare environments. They demonstrate design excellence that goes beyond aesthetics to support emotional health and create a strong sense of community.
MLA’s sponsored ‘Scottie’ is titled ‘Nature Returns’ by artist David Crossley and is located in Glasgow’s Merchant City area, outside The Social Hub. Inspired by urban rewilding, David’s theme of regeneration and restoration resonated with our work at MLA as architects and designers.
Visitors to the MLA Scottie will be rewarded with a 15% discount on tours of Rosebank Distillery via the campaign app.
